Last Thursday, our team gathered with Nashville’s public relations community for the 40th annual PRSA Nashville Parthenon Awards. We left with three Parthenon Awards recognizing our work in Integrated Communications, Corporate Citizenship, and AI Integration and Digital Innovation.
The Parthenon Awards follow Imperium’s two national Awards of Excellence at PRSA’s Silver Anvil Awards in New York, extending a consequential year of recognition for the firm. The awards reflect the model we have been building: deeply integrated client work, senior counsel grounded in the full context of a challenge, and a commitment to moving public affairs forward as technology changes how information travels and decisions get made.
Integrated Strategy for Every Arena
Our Parthenon Award for Integrated Communications recognizes the way Imperium is built to operate in a modern information environment where public affairs doesn't fit neatly into one discipline. A regulatory issue can become a reputational problem overnight. A corporate decision can draw political attention, while a narrative that starts online can shape how customers, policymakers, and journalists understand an organization before it has time to respond.
That work requires seeing the full field of play from the beginning. At Imperium, communications, public affairs, digital strategy, and senior counsel work around the same table — not in parallel silos — so strategy stays connected from planning all the way through execution.
Building the AI-Native Public Affairs Firm
Our award for AI Integration and Digital Innovation may be the clearest signal of where we believe our industry is headed. We’ve spent the past year thinking much more fundamentally about what an AI-native public affairs firm should look like.
Artificial intelligence is reshaping the information environment faster than most institutions can adapt. Search is changing, and reputation and public perception are influenced more and more by what AI systems understand and surface. This award validates our approach toward building AI into the core of how we understand and shape the information environment — not just layering new tools onto old workflows.
Impact That Earns Trust
Our Corporate Citizenship award recognizes work grounded in a principle we believe matters deeply. Organizations taking on meaningful problems have to do two things in tandem: earn public trust and build understanding around why their work matters. Impact takes sustained engagement and the ability to bring people into work that can otherwise be misunderstood or met with skepticism. We’re proud that this award recognized a campaign built on that principle.
Looking Ahead
Thanks to PRSA Nashville and to the clients who trust us with such meaningful work. These awards recognize the effort of a team committed to bringing integrated strategy, sharp judgment, and new tools to the challenges clients face.
We’re energized by the recognition, but even more focused on the standard it reinforces: public affairs work that is multidisciplinary and built for durable results in a rapidly changing information environment.
